1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern your use of the tutoring services provided by Knowledge Nest in Calderdale. By joining our groups and sessions, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before accessing or using our services.
2. Services
Knowledge Nest provides tutoring and coaching sessions in our space at The Tannery, Northowram. Our teachers are experienced professionals dedicated to supporting your child's educational development.
3. Registration and Account
To access our services, you will need to complete an admissions form (above). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.
4. Payment
Payment for our services is paid via monthly gocardless payments, with the initial payment due before the first session begins. Failure to make payments will result in your child's place being cancelled. Upon agreeing on session day, times and availability, an invoice with payment details will be sent. Prices are subject to change and we will notify you of any changes in advance.
5. Scheduling
Classes will be scheduled for the academic calendar in term time or continuously as parents prefer and an invoice with the dates will be sent on confirmation. We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred class, but availability is limited.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Once classes are scheduled and invoices have been given with the term's session dates, cancellations and refunds are not permitted. Sessions are planned and staffed in advance, and resources are allocated based on confirmed bookings. If you decide not to continue for the next term, please give us at least 4 weeks notice.
This policy applies to all absences, including holidays, medical appointments and illness. Unfortunately, missed group sessions cannot be refunded. 1:1 sessions may be possible to reschedule but will depend on availability.
We appreciate your understanding and support, which allows us to maintain consistency and quality across our classes. Where the tutor is unable to attend for example illness, this session will be refunded.
7. Conduct
We expect all participants, including teachers and students, to behave respectfully and professionally during sessions. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate or disruptive may result in the termination of services.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials provided, including but not limited to lesson plans, worksheets and educational resources, are the intellectual property of Knowledge Nest. You may use these materials solely for personal, non-commercial use and may not reproduce, distribute, or modify them without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services.
Tuition at Knowledge Nest runs in term time or continously (invoices and term dates will reflect the parental choice for these).

Where a child joins mid-term, payments will be calculated pro-rata.
